  4. Side 2 (if you own the thing on vinyl, as I do) opens up with great progressively tinged hard rock in "Chained". The rough guitar riff is wonderful and the organ is to die for. Great lyrics as well. I love this song. "Rejoice" is a quiet piece of the kind that resembles harmony drenched pop/rock of the era.
  5. Dec 01,  · James is the king's gardener and he deeply enjoys caring for and cultivating flowers. He teaches his daughter Mary many principles of godliness through the flowers. One day Mary is falsely accused of stealing, and the penalty is death. Through many trials and hardships, Mary learns of the goodness of God, the blessing of praying for her enemies, how to consider her trials as a joy, and true.
  6. The Cynics shifted their direction slightly for the second LP, Twelve Flights Up, from R&B homage to a more poppy, psychedelic folk-rock sound. The results are often excellent, as on the ballad "Took Her Hand," which oozes with sentimentality and overpowering melody.6/
  7. LibriVox recording of The Basket of Flowrs, by Christoph von Schmid. Read by Abigail Rasmussen. James is the king's gardener and he deeply enjoys caring for and cultivating flowers.
